Last week we hosted our latest event focussing on the hottest content marketing trends for the coming year. WBS were joined by our recommended agencies StudioMM and Alpha CRC for talks about content marketing and how to integrate these trends into our 2019 marketing strategy.
Talk 1. Gian-Luca, Digital Marketing Manager @ WBS
Voice Search: With voice search rapidly growing, especially with people under 25, Luca talked us through the importance of having voice search as part of our SEO/content strategy. By 2020, it’s predicted that 50% of searches will be conducted by voice and 30% of all sessions will be done without a screen, meaning now’s the time to implement voice search strategies into your content strategy.

Video Marketing: There’s some really staggering statistics about the rise of video marketing, for example, 73% of people watch online video content every week, 55% every day. And more importantly, brands who use video grow 49% faster than those that don’t!

Talk 3. Paul Mangell, Director, Global Content and Commercial @ Alpha CRC
International Content Strategies: Whether you’re already marketing internationally or looking to start, the importance of a truly localised strategy can be the difference between success and failure. Understanding cultural differences, sensitivities, preferences, behaviours, etc. is key and Paul and his global team will ensure your content hits the mark every time!
